Reversals, EPA, coups and ...the latest on Iran

In a 5-4 decision today, the Supreme Court ruled that a group of white firefighters from New Haven, CT were unfairly denied promotions because of their race---essentially, reverse discrimination.  Supreme Court nm_new_haven_firefighters_090410_mnnominee, Sonia Sotomayor, was one of three appeals court judges who previously ruled against the firefighters. Now that the decision has been reversed what does this mean for Sotomayor?...Shannon Bream has more from the Supreme Court and Brit Hume will join us to share his thoughts on this controversial case.

Did the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) suppress an internal  global warming report - that essentially states that the global warming alarmists are not supported by fact?  The 98 page report appears to be very skeptical of the claims of global warming according to a series of email messages exchanged between EPA employees and researchers. Major Garrett reports--zelaya  the politics of climate change... and how will this affect the bill that passed the House and now heads to the Senate.

The Honduras military ousted President Manuel Zelaya Sunday and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said that it has "evolved into a coup."   President Obama called it an "illegal coup".  Sec. Clinton said that the US will work with other nations to restore democratic order in Honduras--James Rosen is at the State Department.   Did the US "meddle" in the affairs of Honduras??   When does the US get involved and speak out.. and when do we stand back ... foreign policy hypocrisy??

Molly Henneberg has a follow up on Congress' official apology for slavery and Molly Line takes a look at the Canadian health care system.. how long does it take to get serious health issues addressed?  We also have the latest on the situation in Iran--where officials declare President Ahmadinejad victorious after a partial recount.

On the panel this evening--Bill Kristol, Mara Liasson and Charles Krauthammer--discussing the Ricci Supreme Court case and the climate bill and the EPA. Join us tonight!!!

Thank you so much for doing the story on the report suppressed by the EPA. When all sides of an issue cannot be subject to debate, then it automatically becomes suspicious to me! I really enjoy Special Report - it is truely one the most fair & balanced news shows on television!
