I am absolutely outraged about the stunt the White House tried to pull yesterday regarding the press pool! WHAT CAN WE DO TO SUPPORT YOU? I will be calling the White House today as well as my representatives! I'm assuming if they are going to do this every day to FOX... you will be following legal recourse. Am I correct in that assumption?

I am really pleased that you have started closing Special Report with Brit Hume's traditional phrase,"Fair, Balanced and Unafraid," Brett. It certainly takes on a whole new meaning now that Mr.Obama has begun waging his odd little war with Fox News. Good for you! We love ya, Brett! Keep up the great work. Special Report has always been our family's favorite news show.

I,ve been thinking. If the millions of babies that have been aborted in the last 40 years were alive, working and paying taxes the Democrats wouldnt be in the fix they are in now. The liberal left has been the prime motivator for abortion now they want to make an abortion of the whole country. Thier polocies have come back to bite them right in the ass.
I really enjoy The Panel and how it gives good perspective on current events. I place it right up there with the humorous The Grapevine. The two of them are the reasons I always try to catch at least the last half hour of Special Report. Could The Panel be started after The Grapevine to give it more time? It always seems to race through topics and only touch on two each show. The online show proves it can easily handle a bigger chunk on the show.
I was very unimpressed with Mara Liasson's non-defense of Fox News. I'd be interested to look back on her opinion of when Ari Fleischer was heavily criticized when he responded to moveon.org's calling Gen Peraeus a traitor. I'd also like to hear her publicly disavow her Newsweek colleague saying that she should not appear on Fox. Her silence on this issue is deafening. Keep fighting the good fight Brett. The WH trying to silence you is an outrage.

I understand that the businesses too TARP/ but what about businesses that have a government contract to do business such as building, education etc.Will the pay czar dictate their pay as well. Just a thought of the slippery slope this is heading down.

I don't think that you have done a story or a panel discussion lately about the fact that the Administration and Congress continue to push health care reform in the face of the majority of voters being opposed to it (Rasmussen has 42% supporting and 54% opposed; other polls have shown Dems solidly supporting it, Reps overwhelmingly opposed and Independents opposed, but not as strongly as Reps). Past legislation of this magnitude has had solid support of the country & Congress.
I loved Brian Wilson's piece yesterday - always up for a chuckle. I, too, thought Mort was off on the medicare issue on yesterday's panel, but frankly, I tend to expect that form Mort these days, so I don't let it bother me. At the very least, it promotes lively discussion. ;) Missed Charles, so looking forward to tonight's panel - and I don't care what Newsweek says, we love Mara! It's seems par for the course that a Liberal outlet would bash a smart Conservative woman...
