Brett,
Tell me if I´m wrong. Somewhere in the past ,I´m 64 ) I read that when a person becomes president that person is no longer a republican or democrat. The president should be neutral to party and answerable only to the people of the United States. Has this wonderful idea died and when did it die? It would be novel if we had a president minus an EGO and with a little common sence. I´m not speaking of obama but of many presidents in the past. The president should balance out the legislative.
Bret, what level of success can be achieved in Afghanistan considering the country relatively remains in the 5th century? It appears only a large invasion type plan and extremely long period of occupation would be able to effectively stabilize a very unpredictable reigion. Any thoughts?
Thanks to you and your team for the TV and online SR shows today!
My teen sons and I are going to remember Reagan's great speech today before watching baseball. I was only four when RR made it but he was the first president I got to vote for. Thanks for your time. Go Navy!

Bret,
Can you please ask the all-star panel about the hypocrisy of the former constitutional professor at the University of Chicago, now President of the United States accepting the Nobel Peace Prize when it is specifically prohibited in article I, section 9 of the Constitution? Other elected officials have been prosecuted for accepting gifts while in office, why is there no uproar now?
I'll be watching the NY23 race too. If Hoffman doesn't make it, I'm going to be even more unhappy with the GOP and Newt. It won't be because the cons didn't send a very clear message, and it shouldn't have been a message we have to send. But we'll send it until they get it, while the administration they enabled continues to fail Americans.
