Brent, I congratulate you and the rest of your team. You host the best evening newscast on the air. You and the "All Stars" give us the facts and allow us to formulate our conclusions on the day's events. We enjoy watching your newscast so much, we set our DVR to record every program. Please share our thanks with every member of the Fox News Team. As a combat disabled Vietnam Veteran, I have always been less than trusting when it comes to our Government. Your show gives me hope. God Bless!

I was sorry that the chat didn't work tonight but, in an odd way, it works better because I could totally pay attention to what was being said on the show without the chat scroll in my peripheral vision. As far as a topic for Fri night goes - do you think that the Rep in NY will see Doug Hoffman's defeat as affirmation that they are going in the right direction or will they reconfigure their platform to include more conservative values. I love the show!

Topic for lightning round--after the Election Day results of this week, which legislation is in most trouble: healthcare reform, cap and trade or Employee Free Choice Act?

To continue: As a result, many of us in my area (Sarasota/Bradenton/Venice) don't feel our voices, at least as far as the Senate is concerned, are heard. Events such as the 1.7 million (give or take a few thousand) 9/12 rally have been the ONLY way we've been able to communicate with the Senate. Will Rep Bachmann's "Call to Constituents" be successful?

Hi! How about a "Lightning Round" question dealing with Rep Michelle Bachmann's plan to bring the constituents to Congress? From what I can tell, it should be an awesome turnout--but will it have a real impact on Congress? My Rep, Vern Buchanan (FL), had a couple of town halls, but because of Bill Nelson's attitude (I am a United States Senator--YOU don't know squat), he held NO town halls at all; then Mel Martinez resigned and George LeMieux wasn't sworn in until after the August recess.

I'd like to nominate two topics. One serious and one fun. SERIOUS: WH vs Fox War Over. Apparently, it is is over. Hillary Clinton appeared on Greta's show. Axelrod was interviewed by Major. What happened??? I don't recall anything said on Special Report about it ending. FUN: Krauthammer for President in 2012 If you were to have "Krauthammer 2012" as a choice, it will win the most votes. What would be his campaign platform? Have the panelists and you ask him "hard-hitting" questions. :-)

Bret: Please explore Glenn Beck's allegations that the Obama administration is utilizing the Cloward-Piven strategy to collapse the financial systems of the U.S.,i.e., crazy numbers spending, bailouts, debt that can never be repaid, etc. Coupled with the avowed Marxists and Maoists surrounding the president, supposedly to be used as a governing framework to swoop in, once "emergency" is declared. Collapse of the dollar? Depression? Government financial collapse? Another terrorist attack? Thx

HEALTHCARE reform should be scrapped and starter over in a much more simplified way. Should include tort reform, and not take money from Medicare!

Hello Bret, this is a follow up in regards to the Iran situation. I see irony in that President Obama was so eager to be critical of the Bush Administration on WMD in Iraq and now on Obama's watch, Iran is developing WMD(not hiding it as well) and Obama is motionless. What would Charles say about this irony?

When they talk about people choosing "health care" I don't know whether the respondent means I'm pro this health "deform" bill or I'm against this health "deform" bill. Which is it?

On the show today, the panel "responded" to the election results. Absolutely nothing sensible was said about the NY 23rd result and Axelrod's bragging about it! What is wrong with you people? In spite of the dropping out of the GOP nominee and her endorsement of Owens, and his being opposed only by a tyro unknown in the district until the past few months, running on the Conservative Party line, Owen wound up with 49% of the vote! Your lack of smarts on this was pathetic! John A. Renick

Bret, Great show! Charles K. is the best All Star you got, he knocks it out of the park every time.My question is; Why would Obama watch himself on HBO instead of the importain issues? Is he that much in love with himself?

November 4, 2009 at 6:19 pm

Bret, Can you ask the panel on the online show what they think about the Health Care debate starting in the house on Saturday? John
