Has anyone made the connection that the shooter at Fort Hood and the shooter in the Virginia Tech massacre were both Virginia Tech students

I'm disgusted at the shooter of Fort Hood's cousin who just was on the air. Malik Nadal Hasan was not a great american or whatever the heck his cousin said. Great american's do not go on shooting sprees. Army Major's do not shoot their fellow soldiers. He was not a great america regardless of how many years he served our Country or if he was born here. He murdered his fellow brother of the Flag.

News casters keep saying the shooter killed 12 people. He did not kill himself so he killed 11 and he was killed by others. That may not make much of a difference, after all 12 people are dead. God bless them.

Ref type of pistol. Bret I have a 9mm Beretta, civilian model of the Army issue. I bought a clip for it that will hold 30 rounds. It is possible that a shooter could fire 60 rounds with 2 hand guns and would not have to reload.

Please don't put someone on again like this Brian Hensel who is a retired FBI agent and name him as a "Base Security Expert." Give us a break, FBI agents don't know what the hell goes on in a military installation!

I've been watching Fox's Special Report for 45 minutes dealing entirely with the Fort Hood shooting. Not once did the reporter or any guest bring up the OBVIOUS QUESTION: the shooter's name is Arab. What is the connection here to Arab terrorism? Doesn't anyone see a possible connection? Doesn't anyone remember the 9-11 attacks? Am I crazy, or are these TV talking heads entirely too politically correct????

FNC the only real news organization. You were reserved and didnt give the name until it was confirmed.Great respect for our military. You didn't want to speculate! Thats what the news is supposed to do wait for confirmation!

Why is no one talking about shooting in Commanche 4 housing area on fort hood? I am an Army wife and we were stationed there 2 years ago and I have friends still living on post and have heard from many of them about shooting in their neighborhood this afternoon.

Being a senior, I've been very concerned about what's happening with the Democrats' healthcare bills.(At least what we know about them.) What we don't know troubles me just as much. As far as AARP's endorsement today was not a surprise. We've known they supported it all along, after constantly saying they didn't. It just exposes them be liars(disingenious.) See you on Special Report tonight. Have a good one! Love your show, SR online & Foxnews. Good work!

I want to thank Brett for being respectful of our military families by not reporting the name of the shooter at Fort Hood until it is released by the military. Instead of being the "first" to get the story he showed integrity, self-control and respect . Thanks from all of us in uniform.

I am so sickened that President Obama's first acknowledgment of the shooting at Fort Hood was prefaced by his warm salutations to the group he was conferencing with today(not sure of the name but it was having to do with Native American Tribes). Not to cast shadows on those tribes or the efforts of their event that the President was a part of today; but the Presidents choice of priority remarks seems to put his priorities in perspecitve,
