The bill that was passed on Saturday is so unconstitutional that the congress men who voted for it should be arrested for violating their oath for office. There is no place in the Constitution that gives the Federal government the right to create and pass such laws. This area is clearly a State issue and this bill is in direct violation of the 10th ammendment.
Bret, you are my favorite host on Fox. You tell it like it is in such a professional way. On today's show, Charles K. (as usual) was right on about the Political Correctness that is endangering our soldiers and citizens. What if those officers had submitted reports about Hasan when they were first troubled by what he was saying? Would the soldiers he shot be alive today? Political Correctness is an insidious disease and wraught with danger.
You are missing the point about what cause the attack at Ft. Hood. It is Islam it's self, not Radical Islam but the religion core teachings and our PC handling of the the Truth about Islam. Until the religion is nolonger practise anywhere in the world we will always have Islamic Terriorist acts. Killing the no believer is core to the teaching of the Quran.
It is obvious that our country under the Obama Administration is not safe. The 9/11 Terriorist told us that they would take us out from the inside or a sleeper cell and truly believe that we are seeing this play out. What is more concerning to me is the lack of concern that our President seems to show he has will all the recent issues in Utah and in Colorado and now in Texas on our own Military Base. My question is why, why is his lack of concern to a sense of urgency in highest alert for us.
I heard mentioned, that Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, did not want to fight against fello muslims in Afganistan. That just doesn't cut it! My Father fought in the 2nd WW. His Mother was a German native. He still carried out his duties, while fighting Germany. Also, France & Air Core.

How can the press let the Dems get away with saying abortions won't be covered by federal funds, but them pass an amendment to specifically bar what they say isn't going to happen. Then people like Wasserman come out and say they will strip the final bill of the amendment. This can only mean they intended to cover abortions with federal funds all along. This hypocrisy needs to be widely exposed.
Health Care or Jobs!
With unemployment over 10%, it seems to me we need to be concerned about JOBS for those without Health care or jobs. Those of us that are retired and on medicare, can't pay more or afford to lose benefits that medicare offers.My wife and I have worked 40 years for those benefits. I see the house bill will cut up to 400 Billion from the Medicare advantage plans, and this is not acceptable. The seniors have a hard time paying for health care, and medicare is not free!
